1985 cj-7 304 v-8 3 spd. dana 20 t-case.
Hey guys,my AMC 304 in my jeep takes forever to warm up. When I'm not moving down the road the temperature gauge shows that it's warming up. When I start going down the road the gaugeslowly goes down. I'm just trying to get my heater to warm up quicker. Could this be a thermostat issue?

I agree it either doesn't have one or it is stuck open.
 
thanks guys you were right I took my water neck off and there was no thermostat. put one in and fixed the problem. Thank you:chug:
