I understand TF999 came in many Jeeps after CJ's etc. I also understand that at some point they had electronic shift control and the bolt pattern changed. My question is how new of a TF999 can I use in my carbed CJ?
Or up to what year?
I was tempted to say when they went to fuel injection in '90 , but I cant say positively.
But using Novaks site It looks to me like no Transmission that was behind the 4.0 has the correct bolt pattern for the AMC 258 i6 / 4.2l . Scroll down to bellhousings.
