I put a post on a few CJ boards RE: Need Cowl Vent ASAP... We were ready to paint a few items and realized the cowl vent was for a pre-76 CJ. Doh! I didn't want a SS or powder coated aftermarket piece - just wanted the factory plastic version.... couldn't find it ANYWHERE.

Got a PM from Mike at TexomaJeeps.com "PM me your address". Two days later the vent is in hand. No cost. Mike even ate the $8.00+ postage. Guess where my first stop is next time I'm looking for used Jeep parts!

Thanks Mike.

Glad I could help a fellow CJ'er!

Mike took really good care of me on my air cleaner setup and I didn't even want to take the Jeep CJ discount  . It's nice to know there are still good old school guys like him around for us CJ guys.

Which reminds me:oops:. Mike, can you see if you have a clean CJ7 windshield frame or frame w/windshield? And original or original style mirrors (at least drivers side). If you do, please price to ship to 85381 and shoot me a message.

Thanks!

Cheers to Mike from me as well! Been helping me with a bunch of stuff on my build, and can't thank him enough!
