Been doing alot of Cj related research lately and my eyes get bleary after reading so much. So since Im gathering up some pics as well I switch from reading text to looking at pics. How about these 2 I ran across:

Now if it that were amphibious like those 6x6 ATV's, I'm all in!

Oh man thats a flashback!! I had one in a scale version for my G.I.Joe :D

But seriously my nieghbor a few doors up had one. This was in the mid 70s and he used to mess with it every Fall. He was a hunter and Im guessing used it to bring back deer. We had cornfields across the street and I remember him just doing donuts in it.

Those are awesome! I can see myself building one, you could pull the trail rig with it!

earlier this last summer there was one of these for sale near here...couldn't talk the wife into letting me have it tho...:(

that green one used to be red. I have seen it several times in Moab back in the mid 1990's. I have some pictures of it. Both rear axles are powered. Very cool.

I was wondering if either one was a true 6x6. Thats pretty cool. I like oddball stuff like that. Not sure why. :dunno:

The one I saw had one center and one offset axle in the rear and the Transfer Case was set up with two rear outputs. The offset driveshaft came up to a carrier bearing and then the second half basically went right over the first axle. I have to go through my old 35mm photos and find it. I know I took a photo of the rear end set up because I was so amazed and crazy Jeeps were not the norm back then.

Oh man if you can post pics of that Id love it. :)

Does this apply?
This may be the finest Jeep I've seen.:drool::drool:

Most definately. Saw that awhile back on Ebay. The guy was selling a collection. Never saw how it turned out but I thought he'd be better off splitting up what he had.

This is still the cleanest Cj pickup conversion Ive seen. I wish Id have had the cash to buy it when it sold. The guy who bought it has done virtually nothing with it. :(

That is cool^^^ but I still would prefer the green 6x6 converted into a poonton type rig :D.

I can see myself now, driving up to the lake at any point I want, no boat ramp :dung: to deal with or parking the trailer, rolling in and heading to a nice cove, beer in one hand fishing pole in the other. :chug:

I found a pic of the Jeep but none of the suspension. I will scan the pic at work and post up anyway just because of the coolness factor.
