you are not spending enough time with the cJ s you already own. you have plenty to do, stay focused! I know it is hard, I very recently almost brought home a 60 Willys truck. I had to spend quality time with the inner IO to remember the true path to enlightenment, by way of a new Transmission and Transfer Case . and a lot of other small things on the to do list.

Aw what the hell, go for it. It isn.t like this is a 12 step program or anything. We are here to encourage, not intervene.

Pete, you need to get one of your cj's ready for the Jeep-cj ride this year.
Than on the way back home(out of the rust belt) you can find a nice rust free 8 to trade for.

This just makes me want to grab a Willys truck and a Commando right away.

Honestly Im ready to throw some money at Vickis Laredo considering it'll be the Cj we wheel this year ( finally ). The New Year should be nice to it cash wise. I just need some time. I was off 5 days in December and the rest I worked 3am to 3pm. I only have 3 days off in January but I should be back to a little more 7am to 3pm hopefully.

The Colorado ride wont happen for me. Our plant shutdown this year is 2 weeks Aug 11th to the 23rd. One week of that is Mandatory Speed Camp for the boys football. The other will be family vacation. I only have 5 more vacation days and 2 personal days other than that. Im gonna use some of those for 3 day weekends over the Summer so Vicki and I get our camping in.

Look, if you’re a “true” jeeper you know that there is no such thing as owning too many Jeeps, running or not. You can always fall back on the position that you are performing a public service by saving them from being parted out. I say give in to temptation and Buy, Buy, Buy!

First and foremost the Laredo needs to be solid and reliable before anything else.
