The Jeep Itch
I feel myself itching for a Scrambler again. Must... resist ... urges... long... wheelbase... Jeep...

you are not spending enough time with the cJ s you already own. you have plenty to do, stay focused! I know it is hard
Yes, Pete, I wish I had that kind of time left and money to spend just to think about doing something like that.
Pete this is your CJ, give in to the long side, feel the power, install the v8, and let the power flow through you into the obstacles! Give yourself to the long side and feel the power!

oh boy, the rest of us are trying to keep 1 build thread going and now you want 3?![]()
you are not spending enough time with the cJ s you already own. you have plenty to do, stay focused! I know it is hard, I very recently almost brought home a 60 Willys truck. I had to spend quality time with the inner IO to remember the true path to enlightenment, by way of a new Transmission and Transfer Case . and a lot of other small things on the to do list.
Aw what the hell, go for it. It isn.t like this is a 12 step program or anything. We are here to encourage, not intervene.![]()
Pete, you need to get one of your cj's ready for the Jeep-cj ride this year.
Than on the way back home(out of the rust belt) you can find a nice rust free 8 to trade for.![]()
Pete, I hope you find that 8. I've had my eye on one for some time now. It's been sitting under a carport next to a 66 Barracuda. Neither one has moved in 10 years.
Look, if you’re a “true” jeeper you know that there is no such thing as owning too many Jeeps, running or not. You can always fall back on the position that you are performing a public service by saving them from being parted out. I say give in to temptation and Buy, Buy, Buy!
Lmao!! I wonder if that public service is tax deductible as well.![]()
Pete, Found one for ya...1983 Jeep Scrambler
