As we all know, virtually everything in this world of ours eventually suffers from molecular fatigue and ultimate breakdown. Hydrogen and Oxygen are no exceptions. Deflating and re-inflating your tires once a year or every 7,000 miles will help to maintain pressure longer preventing premature tire wear, restrict the common occurance of "flat spots" (from extended storage) and also greatly delay the inevitable "rubber rot". Don't forget to change out that stagnant and fouled air once in a while!

My tires get deflated every time I go wheeling, though some guys use various gasses in their tires to eliminate expansion and contraction. I think the most neglected maintaince item is the driver.

I like to rotate my tires but leave the air in the same spot. I remove the air from each tire and then reinflate the rotated tire that will be in the original spot. That way the rotational inertia from the air stays the same.

:laugh: you guys are killing me

This works pretty well with radial tires but not so much with Bias Ply tires. Its a real p.i.t.a. lining up the flat spot just right again. Ive spent wekkends trying to get them perfect again. I also use nitrogen in mine. Usually cause its after dark when I fill them.

I use my co2 tank to fill mine, that way I can refizz my pop when it goes flat out on the trail.

Maybe we should change the blinker fluid also !:laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh:

Helium works great to and it aides acceleration and gas mileage because the wheels are lighter.

I find myself with a loose screw in the driver all the time. Easy to get to though, the problem is usually located between the seat and the steering wheel.:chug:

Where can you get this gas at? Everytime I get gas I seem to expand and contract! :D ...And then theres those darn fumes from my emissions.

A local Welding Shop carries the gas, I have heard of different types being used though. I have seen guys use the smaller dive tanks to store it in, it is usually kept under very high pressure. It is a bit too much bucks for me and I use an onboard air system anyway.

I like the helium idea. I could use better gas mileage. :D
You think my jeep would float on water too?;)

The Hindenburg did use helium which is inert but the US had the sole supply and since the nazis were funding the company they were forced to go back the hydrogen which is very volatile.

Plus itll make you talk funny as an icebreaker while airing down at your local wheeling spot. ;)

helium good. hydrogen bad. :D
While I like a flame jobs, flaming tires are a bit much.
