I had one in the front of my CJ5 . On the trail it felt like I lost a little turning radius. But boy it pulled real nice and I loved it. It was definately worth it. Since neither one of you sees snow its a good economical locker.

thats what im thinkin pete. i was gonna order a ected locker since im fixin to regear, but i decided my budget would like a winch instead, and maybe a auto locker later.
