Occaisionally the clutch in my 74 CJ5 chatters violently when in reverse, never in first.
Time for a new clutch?
 
The clutch always turns the same way. I am wondering if it might really be a tranny problem.

That's kinda what I was thinking, just seems funny it only does it in reverse.
 
reverse is a lower gear ratio than first gear
