Well after upsizing to 35s I have too much rub on the rear tires. I got some freebie rear TJ flares. These should give me more room once I Sawzall the rear. I'll post pics this weekend!

Unless someone thinks this is a terrible idea?
 
I have seen TJ flares on a CJ before and they look pretty good along with the hood latches also.

Did it on an old project here. All 4. 33s with well used 2 1/2 in springs.

I really want to see the pics please of how you finish the cuts. Wanted to do this too, but too afraid of how much body metal has to be removed and how to button it up correctly.

Here is mine. Trimmed everything I could to get the rubber to not rub.
