Took the Scrambler out for a drive.

Took the Scrambler out for a drive.
Cleaned the carb and changed the jets this morning then took a long drive today. What crappy weather! Tropical storm Debby is dumping a bunch of rain on us. I actually had to wear a hoodie because it was cool and damp (don't tase me Bro!!)
Wipers worked great (spring loaded - where did you get them Pete?) and so did the defrost. I have never owned a CJ that the vent cables actually worked! :notworthy:
Almost no water leaked down the firewall from the front, nice! :)
Started rebuilding the doors - new regs, vent windows, seals and hinges.

Should I start a build thread?

I never did a build thread when I did my doors, kind of kick myself for not doing it too. I had mine torn all the way down.

I don't think there is a door rebuild thread, why the heck not :dunno:

Not just a door build thread, what about a CJ8 build thread? I'm not going to restore it but I will be making it my every day driver... ;)

Yes you should. There is a really good section on door rebuilding in the Gaucho thread I posted up awhile back. What jets did you use in the carb?

Put on some new front shocks, installed the rear view mirror and put on the the SS side mirrors. Then took a nice drive - great day! :)
