I'm replacing the seats in my 80 CJ5 and broke 2 of the e-torx bolts that connect the slider to the bottom of the drivers seat.

Does anyone know of a source for these bolts?

Unless you're trying to keep everything 100% stock, I'd use a Phillips head screw or a bolt. Torx head screws and bolts are a pain. You just need to make sure that whatever you use, the head clears the slider. I've been there before.

I am trying to keep it as close as possible to oem.

These are the external torx and use a torx e10 socket to install or remove them. As near as I can figure they are 5/16-18 x1" thread forming
as they are sort of tri-angle shaped.

You could use a grade 8 hex head make your life easy finding a bolt that will work :chug:

I don't think that the hex head bolt will clear the sliders.

That's correct, a hex bolt wont work.
The e-torx are superior to grade 8 hex bolts.
With the correct wrench, it's impossible to strip round the head off, and they're stronger than grade 8.

Plus when I pass this rig on to the next owner I don't want him to have any grief because "Bubba PO used the wrong parts"
