As much as I think electric vehicles are great because of the instant torque and horsepower I know we are very early in adopting them. Plus, the environmental impact of making batteries is substantial (that's really never addressed).
But I've been following SS batteries and if/when they are available it should be the next big thing.
Kinda like when SS hard drives were adopted...

Probably more money than I will ever want to spend on a vehicle. Interesting technology all this for sure.

I used to say that about the solid state hard drive. My hard drive in my laptop started to go bad and I replaced it last year with a SSHD, it had dropped so much in $.
I wonder how many years it will take for this to happen with batteries?
I just hope I'm still around!
