Tub paint

I’m getting ready to repaint my dad’s 85 cj7 spring edition, I’m going to paint the exterior with a base/clear but not sure what to paint the interior with, thinking of using a single stage paint but unsure of the durability. Anyone have any suggestions or comments?

Spray it with a good bedliner then paint over it

Single stage is cheap and quick for something that's not parked outside

OK, I’m not a paint savvy guy and I have a stupid question here. Why would you want to apply a bed liner to the interior of the tub then paint over it? Wouldn’t it be better to have the wear focused on the bed liner which is a thicker more durable material than the paint?

My CJ is silver , so I used Monstaliner Chassis Saver in silver. It turned out great. I also able to change the color easy if someday I repaint the exterior.
