Body Benefits if doing firewall and wheelwells in raptor line versus paint for sound and rust?

Thinking of doing engine compartment wheelwells and fire wall with raptor liner instead of paint. Will there be sound benefits and obviously I’ll save a few dollars on paint shop.

Have never done that. However, I'd imagine it would deaden the sound a bit. Also, your meaty tires will fling a lot of rocks up inside the wells and it should deaden those impacts.
Rhino lined the inside of the tub of the CJ7 I have now. But, I did that mostly for scratch resistance and cleanout purposes (pull the drain plugs and power wash it out).
