Are there any designs with tube bumpers that look good on cj's? Planning on building some and don't want them to look stupid. I like this style, I wonder if it would work front and rear. Front will have a stinger and the rear will have a tire swing (maybe on the swing).

for CJs, I just build my own

Well yeah, but I've got a tubing bender. And was thinking about building tube bumpers. I've just never seen any tube bumpers on cj's.

I think that is an age thing, those kinda got popular in the TJ years
I know there are ones made.but most old CJs are built, or being returned to Street Queens
I think we are at a point of being more valuable stock or slightly modified, the beaters have a set price of 4 gs no matter how wildly built around here, a restored street queen gets real expensive

I'll probably buy some tube and see what I can come up with. Going to tie it into a basic exo cage and a stinger so I think it has the potential to look decent.

Post up some pix when you get them built.:chug:

I've seen a couple from Smittybuilt, that look like what you're describing. I don't think they look too bad.
