Universal electric windshield wiper kit install?

So I bought my '66 CJ5 without windshield wipers or motor, the previous owner removed them or didn't bother to install them (of course, because why would he?). The assembly is there however. So I bought one of those "universal" electric wiper kits as seen here:

Has anyone installed one of these? I'm not sure where the motor goes and it came with no instructions (of course, because why would it?) and I checked my Haynes manual which doesn't have instructions on replacing the wiper motor (of course, because why would it?) I've owned a '74 in the past, and that had the motor on the outside which was a snap to replace, but the '66 is somewhere inside I'm guessing. Any and all advice is welcome and appreciated.

arent the 66 wipers the style that sit with the motor at the center on the top of the windshield?

Possibly. It could be that my windshield is from a newer CJ. In fact, it looks like the motor mounts on the outside. Here's a picture.
