Hello
I am looking to swap out my axles (Dana 30 front axle and a AMC20 rear axle) on my jeep. Want to know what setup you went with and price. I am looking at the G2 Core 44 YJ axles for front and rear any suggestions?

The pumpkin of a YJ front axle is on the wrong side for a CJ. You'll have to flip the Transfer Case or install a YJ Transfer Case to make it work.

Currie Ford 9" in rear.
Been run'n it for over 26 yrs now-No regrets.
Today-You'll drain your savings account for sure, on 2 axle assemblies.
OP-Are you SURE your '86 doesn't have a 44 in the rear??

First question is what do you want to do with the rig and how big of a tire? If you stick to 33's maybe some chromo shafts and you are good. 37s and bigger will most likely need new axles, gearing etc.
