Upgrading axles on my Cj7

I am looking to swap out my axles (Dana 30 front axle and a AMC20 rear axle) on my jeep. Want to know what setup you went with and price. I am looking at the G2 Core 44 YJ axles for front and rear any suggestions?

The pumpkin of a YJ front axle is on the wrong side for a CJ. You'll have to flip the Transfer Case or install a YJ transfer case to make it work.

OP-Are you SURE your '86 doesn't have a 44 in the rear??

The '86 CJ came with the Dana 44 in the later production models as the AMC20 ran out.

First question is what do you want to do with the rig and how big of a tire? If you stick to 33's maybe some chromo shafts and you are good. 37s and bigger will most likely need new axles, gearing etc.
