So i just dropped about $1000 with these guys...ordered 7 items and there are issues with 4 of them.

first off my quadratec floor liners...the drivers side does not accommodate for the high beam switch...seems like they didnt know it had one...then on the other side by the gas pedal its not shaped right and doesnt lay flat. as a result the gas pedal stays stuck down when pressed.

then there is the KC hi lites h4 head light conversion. they dont fit. the rubber boot on the back to seal the bulb doesnt fit into the opening on the headlight assembly side.

i also ordered a tuffy lockable glove box. once mounted and screwed in, it sit back to far so the door wont latch. this problem i can fix with modification but it wouldnt look that great and i really shouldnt have to.

last but no least i ordered the centra pod with speakers. the speaker wire the speakers came with is of the smallest gauge you can imagine...once hooked up no sound will come through...replace their dinky wires with some old speaker wire i had laying around and tada works fine.

i just dont understand the fitment issues. are manufacturers that lazy with details or do i just have a one off jeep? im thinking its not my jeep.

I'm thinking your right, they seem to have a hard time with cj parts.:(
I don't see it being Quadratec's falt though, except for the floor mats maybe.

im upset with the company because it seems like these fitment issues would be known. they could either advise of issues or not recommend it in the first place.

i cant be the first guy to buy these products.

maybe im blowing it all out of proportion..

its just...first i wasted 4 hours at discount tire, then on the way home a u joint in my drive shaft failed, then these parts issues! the jeep gods are givin me a hard time...must be testing my loyalty.

so yea, not necessarily quadratecs fault but a heads up on possible fitment issues could of prevented all this frustration.

Sorry to hear about your problems I can see getting upset when you drop a grand and most isn't wright. I have bought a lot of stuff from them and I think a lot of it is from China. I'm starting to think you can't get good replacement parts any more. Almost everything you buy is cheap China :dung:. And this sucks.

I believe there is a lacking in quality craftsmanship in today's world and not just with Jeep parts. Q-tec is usually good with their customer service. Call them up and discuss your complaints with them. The sad thing is that a good many CJ parts are only available in Limited places such as from Crown or Omix-ada, which many retailers use. If you can avoid those 2 manf., do it, but sometimes you can't.

quadratec customer service is good, i can vouch for that. but yea, it just sucks having to modify things that are already "custom made".

Yeah I'm with you on Quadratec. I stopped using them and went to Morris 4x4 and have had good luck wuth them

:agree:i haven't used quadratec, but have gotten everything through morris, have done returns also...very happy usually see my stuff in 2-3 days.

I bought these floor liners too, DO NOT USE!! I repeat...DO NOT USE!! I damn near wrecked my CJ7 when the accelerator pedal got stuck on the floor liner for the first time. Very scary, very dangerous. Do not modify these, just ship them back and get your money.

Yes Yes morris 4x4 is way better than quadratec i've found myself

I too have had problems with Quadratic. Looked into Morris and others, although most still carry some brands, etc. Crown, Omix, and others. My KC lights fit fine, but the KC logo never has lite up! Hindsight I should have went with one of the other brands.
