Jeep CJ-7 V8 Rolling Chassis

I found this local add that has a AMC 304 , T-18 , and Dana 20 all together on a rolling chassis. What do yall thing about it? I dont know much about the downsides of a AMC 304 vs other v8s. what do yall know of.

$800 for a v8 T-18 and Dana 20 with extra parts doesnt seam bad. but who knows if they are all in good condition.

it wouldnt be hard to take the drive train off and stick it in my jeep to replace the straight 6, T-5 , and Dana 300 thats struggling to push my 36" tires

I really want a cummins 4bt or 350 but im just looking at options

Thanks for your thoughts :chug:

Im one of those that appreciates a good deal. If the drivetrain is in as good a shape as he says, i would jump on it. The T-18 speaks for itself, and a good running AMC 304 cuts down on the amount of work when it comes to transplanting.
The AMC 304 isn't a screamer, but it provides ample low end torque as it was designed for....i've seen several AMC 304 's easily built up to provide a ton of power.
