I am Elmer from MDJuan.
We're thinking of Making the venting windshields for CJs.
Just wanted to ask if CJ7 or Yj owners would be interested as well.
I would be interested. Make it have two stops; one a few inches wide and another all the way up. Be verrrrrrrry quiet, I like to hunt wabbits!

- 1980 cj5 258ci straight 6, 31x10.50's. Partial Teamrush iginition upgrade, MC 2150 Carb. 4.0 head swap, factory header. I call him "Eugene".
Dad's jeep when he raced in the 70's. Cj2 running gear, ford 300 cu in 6 cyl with 3 deuces. Fiberglass model T body and hand laid fiberglass hood. welded 5.38 gears and beer keg fuel tank. see avatar

There used to be a company called Tyson Design Works that made fold out windshields for Jeeps. I can't get to a web page, but they were at leasy around to make JK stuff.

I asked Elmer to inquire about venting windshields because it has continually popped up in our discussions in other forums. Seems the Jeep community wants us to make it.
Specifically the early CJ5 people. So we were curious if the later jeeps were interested as well.
I guess in asking for the price indications we crossed the line.

Well, now that we've got that out of the way, no, I don't like the Tyson design at all. I'd like a windshield that--as someone has already mentioned--would open a few inches at the bottom. For ventilation.
