. Person, I purchased off has all the parts he took off stored in various places on his property so have a little bit of inventory to do. I've never taken on a project like this, but I am looking forward to the adventure. I am sure I will have lots of questions and I am sure many of you are more knowledgeable than me. Thanks for letting me in: looking forward to getting to know all of you.I Love safari's and Junk yards are my favorite places to explore. Just not many of them still have the old cars anymore.WOW !
This is going to be a “Rusty Iron Junkie’s” therapy thread to follow!
I think I mentioned before, my sons have put me in the “12 Steps Program”
I AM NOT ALLOWED TO DRAG ANYMORE RUSTY ORPHANS HOME !!
Good Luck ! Looks like a lot of Parts Safari’s are in your future too.
I'm up for that if the initial drive isn't to far for me. I live in Southeast PA.We make a Day out of it.
I usually get ahold of one or two of my Rusty Iron Junkie's, and start out a Parts Safari by meeting for breakfast. Then after getting a gist of what everyone is looking for, we hit the Salvage Yard. Then stop for some Greasy Bar burgers and a beer or two
before heading home with our
Treasures.
I'm down to TWO that are true "Pick-a-Part" yards that are not
Major Drive away. But we have done "Expeditions" on good leads from others.
