check this lift out. 3" for $420 seems like about what your wanting with about the right price too. i have a 4" for the CJ7 and i love it. new springs and it rides pretty good to boot, they also flex good.

What's the most lift I can do without anything more that shocks, the leafs, and maybe a drop pitman arm at most? I have a lot of other things in mind making this CJ a good daily so I want to keep the lift easy, a good kit but a cheaper kit as far as mods go.
