Weber and Nutter Installed! Now What?

Ok I installed the weber 32/36 on my '85 AMC 258 i6 / 4.2l and then did the nutter bypass. I don't have to worry about emissions so what all can I get rid off (vacuum lines) and keep the jeep running right? My charcoal canister has 2 broken inlets so I would like to get rid of that too. Also can I lose the large hoses that connected to the bottom of the old air filter housing??

as far as i know all you need is a vaccum line for dist. advance and one big line for pcv valve. i use the big one from the front of the valve cover to air cleaner for a breather which is its intended use i believe

What is the nutter bypass?

it bypasses the comp. on comp. controlled carter bbd carbs and it also bypasses the comp. so the ignition isn't controlled by it either. google john nutter bypass

When I put on the fuel injection basically same thing your doing I got rid of about 1/2 the wires under there.You just got to trace them out one by one.I would eliminate a few of the emission wires then start it and make sure it run.Keep doing it that way till they were off.Then tucked the wires back for future use.Hopefully someone might have a faster way.

i would suggest an hei dizzy if you want to get rid of all of those wires under there when i put an mc2100 on mine and an hei i got rid of all of it. talkin about alot of gone it makes a big difference

Ya i am going to do the team rush up grade. Do i need the manifold heater?
