This just started yesterday:

My hazard lights work normally, all four corners and the dash indicators all blink.

The signal works normally to turn right, front and rear, and the dash indicator.

The signal to turn left only works with the back light. The front light and the dash do not blink.

At first I thought it might be the stalk (on the steering wheel), but then why would the rear light blink? And if the hazards work, then it can't be a bulb, and why would both the front light and the dash light not work, but the rear light does when all work fine in hazard mode.....

Crazy. Any ideas?

Dave, I have the same problem but it's the front right blinker that doesn't usually work on my jeep. Only when the front right blinker works, the dash indicator light will also work. It's a frustrating thing! I agree!

Did you check all your grounds. When you lose grounds or bulbs the backfeed thru the wiring and do funny things. There;s also a turn signal flasher that could be bad.
There is a wiring link for signals in the doc section you can look at

How about you figure it out for me? :D

Thanx Dsly. I think I will have to do it the hard way. Something must be backfeeding, it's the only thing that makes sense.

If you look at the prints its a easy one to follow. If you can't find them I'll post them on the thread

Yeah! You're probably right. I'll check the ground wires to make sure they are secure and not all rusted up. That could be the answer to a lot of the electrical upsets that I'm experiencing. Like my headlights will quite working for a few seconds then light up again.
I'll dig into it tomorrow.

if your headlights are blinking they are on hot feed from the fuse block. Some of those problems are dimmer switch, light switch and possibly connections in the fuse block where they bolt together on the firewall.

Bolt together on the firewall eh? I'll have to research that one. This is my first jeep and I've only had it a couple of months. It's fun to drive and it turns heads.:D That's the cool part! Electrical problems are not my specialty so I kinda dread that part. Thanks for the info! I do appreciate it!!
