I haven't seen a wolf since I moved to S. Idaho...but when I lived on the MT/ID border, wolves were an every day thing. They are rampant now and have absolutely decimated elk populations in Idaho and Montana.

The animal rights people think they are cute. I dont think they are cute at all when they kill just for sport They really are nothing more then packs of wild dogs

I thought I read that some states are starting open up hunting seasons for them.. Like anything of this sort, being deer, elk, or wolves, their population needs to be controlled..

Correct. The season just closed in MT. ID and I believe OR (or maybe WYO also participated in a hunt.
