Glad to join. Looking forward to learning from everyone. I have a CJ5 , 1970. having trouble finding a ring and pinion for a Dana 25/27 front differential. (well, one that isn't almost 600$) I found the Dana 44 ring and pinion for 144. with a 3.73 ratio. Not looking to rock climb but to take on road trips and visiting my son and grandson in Alabama. I have ordered parts to start on the axles and brakes and figured I would replace the ring and pinion while I had the rest of the axles apart. any advise or shortcuts for doing a disc brake conversion is appreciated. I have ordered brackets and the required parts following Brennan's website. Have a great day.
