Baja Editions are my favorite

I never would have guessed that you two would choose those editions, Golden Eagle36, and BajaEdition!
:D
I don't really have a favorite, since I've never owned any Special Edition CJ's. My favorite Jeep is a CJ3b (High Hood)
Always wanted one, maybe someday!

IMO it doesn't make much difference as they were just different decal packages for the most part, except for the rubican.

Not really
A Baja Edition is an extremely rare and difficult version to find
they are jeeps with Dana 30 /Dana 44 combo detriots both ends
run cb and Ham radio
Have the custom Baja Edition Stickers and custom skid plate package
and are only built by James Hennegan in Riverside Ca
there have only been 2 documented and I am building the 3rd as we discuss this
Plus the original Renegades were equipment packages, most others are just stickers and/or chrome

Love my CJ but the Rubicon is top dog.

Rubicon is the Jeep that makes sense
a package that actually makes it a terrain killing machine.

It is funny that they almost did not get the permission to make the Rubicon, Jeep saw no reason for it and it is now a top selling model. They actually took a bunch of top executives out to the woods and had then drive a lot of different models and they all said the Rubicons were easiest to drive, that is how they got final permission to built and market it.
It now is a major player in the off road market.

When I bought my 04 TJ I scoffed at the Idea the Rubicon would be a good package, I kicked myself in the <-BAD WORD-> ever since and when I got my wife the 08 got her a Rubicon.

2 inches of lift and 33s and it goes where ever we want.

"Don't buy it if it's missing parts. If the engine has been removed, for example, there is likely a ton of wiring missing, which is hard to come by on the cheap. If the Transmission and Transfer Case were removed, it's not worth it, unless you've taken one apart in the last week and can identify all the small parts. Don't buy someone's project. Buy their runner that broke down."
Well those happen to my favs. and I have lookin' for one for awile now.:laugh:

1982 and 1983 CJ7 Limited models
most quiet Jeep and softest ride
fun to drive down the highway

1971 CJ5 Renegade all stock with 5 slot mags. My favorite CJ5 model.
Any year willys MB. My favorite model by far even though it is hardly capable off or on road by todays standards.

CJ8 my favorite Jeep and my current restoration vehicle.

I like all the pre AMC short wheel base cj's
