What can I do about an Ugly,Torn up Rear Seat?

What can I do about an Ugly,Torn up Rear Seat?
Sorry Nitor. The black strap that you have drawn the square around is the problem. THe fabric is starting to get too warn out and when you tighten them around the roll bar they just stretch and start to crack so I can get the dang thing tight. I was wondering if he could replace the black straps in the pic.

Ok - I'll get over there and see what he says and let you know.

Thisguy - He says he can reinforce the straps for $30 and you should be good to go. Let me know.

Hmm it would cost me 50-60 plus shipping to get a new one so that sounds good. Is this something we have to do soon or is the price good for a while? Just to make sure we are on the same page I would need those black straps replaced. Thanks NITOR for the favor.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say the price is good for a while.

Those straps are nylon. Unless they're frayed and worn, why do you think they need to be replaced? He looked at the pictures in this thread on my computer, and said he believes the only thing that would need to be done is to reinforce where those straps are attached. He said he would sew in a piece on the underside of each side to reinforce where the straps are attached so you can pull it a tight as you want. Regardless of what needs to be done, he did say he would do the job for $30.

I know it doesn't look like it in the pic but they are starting to fray and wear out. If this is for a while then I will hit you up when I get finished moving and settled into my new place in Illinois.

No worries. Just let me know.
