I’ve had my CJ hard top off for 4 years and I don’t think I’m every going to put it back on. What is a fair price to list it at? I see prices all over the board. Mine has no cracks, no rust on the hatch, and nice tinted windows with good seals. Also has a headliner in it that I assume is original.

Depends on time of year. Winter 4-5 hundred. Spring and summer I've bought them for as little as 50 bucks

You may have something that is special. Did it come off the '83 in your profile? If it has a factory headliner it's from a '82-'83 Limited . Rare = Money.

It came off my 1983 but my Jeep is a Laredo . The headliner doesn’t have a plastic trim. Someone on another forum said the plastic trim wound indicate it being factory.

Yeah mine had plastic trim around it. Can you post a pic?

Rare gets used way to much. Something is only worth what someone else is willing to pay for it.

When it was the only Cj hardtop from the factory that ever came with a healiner and was only on Limited models for 2 years it definitely qualifies as rare.

Maybe but that means that the market for it is also just as rare if not more so as many don't know about it and frankly probably don't care as most use Jeep's for off roading not restoring and showing like muscle cars and hot rods.

Well that's fine. Your entitled to your opinion of what "most people" do with their Cjs. People that didn't order their Jeep from the factory and we're the 3rd or 4th owner likely didn't. That's exactly why interior options of these Jeep's prices have skyrocketed. There's alot of people out there who appreciate old Cjs in their factory form and not lifted with a Small Block Chevy powering them

I enjoy my mostly stock CJ in fact I'm trying to find original seats. However 98% of the CJ's and their owners I've met over the years including an original owner have long ago ditched the factory interior especially anything to do with carpeting.

Ok I'm just trying to give the OP the best answer I could. A Limited hardtop is worth more than a regular Cj hardtop. A Golden Eagle hardtop is worth more than a ordinary hard top. An early CJ7 hardtop 76-79 is also worth more than a 80 and up hard top.

What factory seats are you looking for? Odds are I can put you in touch with the right person. [emoji106]

Fair enough.

Factory 85 CJ7 seats. I believe they had CJ embroidery on the tops? Can't remember it's been to long

I sold the top today for $850. Now to sell the rest of the unnecessary stuff that I have taking up space lol.

You got good money for it. It's also cold out. What else do you have for sale?

Also yes those are the seats I'm looking for

I am selling basically everything to convert a CJ to auto. Rebuilt AMC TF727, B&M shifter, Champion remote Transmission cooler with fan, two piece from driveshaft from Tom woods to clear the 727 and a powder coated support/skid plate to hold the carrier bearing and protect the Transmission pan.

Also have a set of drawers that go in the back of a Tahoe.

I can actually park two cars in the garage now which is AWESOME!
