Hi
I have a SBC tbi with 60/44 currently on 49.5 iroks. I am going to do a swap and will be doing a tear down. My CJ frame has no issues and I have M.O.R.E frame reinforcing plates to be installed. Will this be enough or should I go to the YJ frame. In a day I can have the MORE installed, the YJ is a bit more work. I already have a YJ frame so its a problem on what to do:confused:

To me, that's kind of a "6 of 1" type of question... I mean, true, the YJ frame is stronger. I don't have much experience with the M.O.R.E. frame plates, but I would have to assume that they would make things at least equally as strong as a YJ frame. If you truly have no rust with your CJ frame, I'd go with the reinforcing plates.

I agree with the above post, I also agre with what you said "a bit more work" body mounts are different gas tank is different, shock mounts are diffrent brake and gas line routing is diffrent track bar mounts, IMHO I would also not swap frames until you have broken yours, then I would swap again just an opinion your coice at the end of the day :chug:
