what trans for diesel

so we are putting a cummins 4bt in a 59 CJ5 this may not be the right site to ask this but you guys have helped with every other question i have had so what is everybodys opinion of the nv4500 Transmission we have a chance to get one cheep nd every thing i have read says they are bullet proof but wanted some real world experiance opinions if anybody has any input it would be great and thanks as always

The NV 4500 would be a good Transmission for the 4BT

A friend of mine put a 6BT into a 86 GMC 3500 and used the NV 4500 hope this helps
