Yes it is........That's an original steel 40 Willys steel body that has been chopped 2.5 inches. The front end , hood, doors & deck lid are either fiberglass or carbon fiber.
In that class we run a 500 inch Chevy w/ Pontiac aftermarket cylinder heads naturally aspirated with two Holley carbs that each flow 1400 cfm. The motor runs 16 to 1 compression on 116 octane gas and spins 9500 rpm's through a dual disc 9 inch clutch and a Lenco 5 speed planetary tranny..............On the dyno @ 1225 HP. on the track @ 7.20 @ 190 mph.
That car has been parked for several years....and has won just about everything there was to win in that class.
 
Gotta say though, the absolute best racing is Spontaneous! Nothing beats a street race ;-)
