OK I got my jeep. It's running pretty good with the exception of when I shut the key off it sputters a little bit. I have a 4" lift kit, a dui distributor with wires, headers with the exhaust system, I want to put another carb on and install a cam, I also want to do a tub off full restoration of which I have two gallon kits of silver and a gallon kit of clear too. I don't want to do the rsto till it starts warming up next year though. In the mean time I'm gonna be sanding and doing body work till then. I just want to drive it a while first. So what do I do and when? Or should I say what would yall do and when?

I guess I should have put in here that all that stuff I have is just sitting here. I havent installed any of it yet. I wanna drive the jeep! Just trying to decide you know?

I look at it as it'll drive good with a beat up body. So I decided to go with the mechanical fixes, then work on the asthetics. More more I look, the more I'm thinking of a new tub. Or at least a tub that needs less work. :driving:

I think i would do something about that front bumper. Somebody went to a lot of work to create low clearance at the front end :(

Oh, I just finished the front bumper. This is not going to be a hard core four wheeler. I'm too old for that.

I believe what CJim7 meant was it doesnt make alot of sense to put on a 4 in. lift with the bumper you designed. Thats from a off road perspective. It hangs down way too low and causes clearance problems for many of our rock crawling members. :D

From all the other posts Ive read from you I think you need to just relax a little. :) Get the Cj roadworthy and enjoy it till you get the weather your looking for in TEXARKANA.

Take time to plan out and learn about your Cj while you enjoy driving it awhile.:chug:

With the new job time off is Limited along with all the other day to day stuff that goes on.
