I am looking for the thickest rubber mat I can but also want it to fit the contour of the tub. I don't have carpet so I'm trying to find something that will stay put. What are most of you guys running?

going commando here boss. got some bed liner. those things trap all kinds of nasty dirt and stuff. When my wife drove it she used one of the door mats that is rubber and a square hatch pattern. very thick, good insulation and very easy to keep clean, stayed put pretty good too. And you can see through it.

Tractor Supply sell the thick bed mat by the foot. You might be able to cut some from scratch. Otherwise go to an auto store and buy the Weathertech universal fit floor mats. They are thick and can be cut to match the contour of the vehicle. I have them in my Tacoma for two year and they look like they were meant to be there.

if you want REALLY thick mats, get the stall mat from tractor supply. Bout 50.00. It would make a good rear mat too.

If your looking for contoured mats check out either Quadratec who has several brands, or Cabela's who always carry quality brands. I haven't got mine yet but I'll probably go with Cabela's. I think the Qtec, Bestop, and Cabela's are probably all the same, just re-branded.

Couple of holes drilled in each side of the floor and an occassional spray via the hose works too....and use the $50.00 for a gallon or two of gas...:)

Having the mats held in by a couple of screws works for me also, and has been that way for many years. my next set of mats will be of a breathable type so moisture underneath will evaporate.
