Whats the difference between carbs?

Both ford and jeep used the 2100/2150 carb so why do the carb kits for the fords run half price to the ones for jeeps? Will the kit for the ford carb work out?

What store are you looking at? It depends on the years, some are interchangable, some aren't.

Well Carb kits for my 77 AMC 304 run anywhere from $40-80 bucks but If I pick one out of my ford truck catalog(Dennis carpenter) they are $15, same if a I look it up at auto zone. I thought maybe it could be like buying for a Chevy vs GMC, one is cheaper for the same thing?? I think I will bite the bullet and get the $15 one to check it out.

they are the same I got mine from Napa and since I worked for a Ford dealer and the 2100/2150 are Motorcraft carbs,so just buy the one for the Ford,I rebuilt my 2100 with a Ford kit.
