so i want to see what everybody really thinks would be the perfect jeep. if you had hit the lottery what would the jeep that you build look like? pics would be cool. get creative or go stock?

for me it would probably be a 50s willy wagon painted fire engine red with
35"-37" tires and nice 18"-20" rims with a new diesel duramax motor and alison Transmission and straight axle front and back with powertrax lockers in both. i would want the front to sit a tad bit higher than the back and i would want it to drive like a lexus. i would want the interior to be really nice and cumy but still be able to hose it out. what about you?

I want my Granddaddy's old Jeep. It was a '67 (mom found some paperwork on it). The only thing on the dash was the speedometer, an AM radio, the head light switch and wiper switch and the choke. :) It was an olive greenish color, then my Uncle Butchy painted it white. The hardtop had latches :) I got in trouble for playing with them :D

I dont know anything else about it. But I want it. Last known address was in Paducah.

1977 Golden Eagle with 37in tires (guy in southern california that sells them for 100 bucks) as a show vehicle and to play in the mud. im building it but not with the hummer tires only bias super swamper tires:D

And another 1974 Renegade yellow with black decals:D

Well Baja is almost building mine, it would be a CJ6 with a fuel injected v6, an auto Transmission , linked on 36 or 38's 15" beadlock wheels. Of course it would also have a 4 speed Atlas tc. and dana 60's with portal ends. Full cage. The dash would stay stock looking, the seats would take 5 point harnesses. You get the idea. :)

one that had a good radiator in it so i could drive it lol.

My perfect jeep would be one that will NEVER break down, Get 100+ MPG and tires that NEVER wear out. Is that asking too much.......

What I have now but with some wider stronger axles, bad <-BAD WORD-> lift (maybe coils) on 35" tires. Then all the goodies like a nice cage, winch, bumpers.

Right now I am dreaming about making my 5 look stock but be very built underneath. I allready have the Chevy 350 motor and T-18 tranny. I need to rebuild the Dana 20 with a tera-low kit. I have the drives shafts from Tom Woods. I am rebuilding a set of 1980 Scout Dana 44 's with lockers and new gears. I am going to bring the big lift back down and run smaller tires with old man emu springs since I mostly do street but not exclusively. Then I am putting a back seat in for my kid along with a full cage to protect her and I am replacing the worn out dual exhaust with TIG welded SS piping and new mufflers. A new paint job is in the works along with sound deadening material and new carpet kit on the inside. So far thats it for me.

I want a CJ8 , Family cage frame tie in, full hardtop, diesel, snorkle, auto Transmission , atlas Transfer Case ,
portal axles, 4link, springs, lockers, beadlocks, 35" KM2's, Rock crusher bumpers with swing out spare,
jerry can racks, safari rack, misc tools, front winch, removable or built in winch for rear, aux lights, GPS,
CB, Clinometer, Tuffy console, XM radio, AC.

LOL, just a quick run down of what I'd like given more time I'm sure I could get more specific. :)

I want a stock CJ7
no lift, no big tires, just a stock jeep
strictly for the sake of it

Hmm
Thats a tough question.
I don't know if I could pick just one.

Something like what I'm building is pretty much what I wan't to build.

A CJ7 , about 3" of lift, 33" tires, a V8 would be nice, but I'm probably going to go with the AMC 258 i6 / 4.2l .

But 2 other Jeeps I really like would be...
A stock(ish) flat fender would be great.

Oh, and an M715 would be nice too....

I'm getting old and get tired of fooling with a stick offroad, and with portals and that setup it'll have gearing for days.

well I would have to say my perfect jeep would be the body and interior as stock as possible, 14 bolt front and rear end, brand new chevy 5.3L engine, and just some tough manual Transmission coupled to a twins stick np205 tc, all sitting on 38 tsl swampers, blacked out with chicken lights on the hard top, york onboard air setup, welder and the other usual rescue equipment.

My jeep with an LT1 motor, Tom Woods Driveshafts, Alloy inner axles front and rear, OX lockers front and rear, 4 to 1 in my Dana 300 , new rear tire hang bumper with jerry can mounts, poison spyder front bumper, warn winch, poison spyder front fenders with 3" flare, poison spyder rocker knockers, poison spyder rear corners with 3" flare, fix the AC and Heater, new wiring harness, and some new tires and rims. Thats all.:D I dream about it every day.
