What's the value of my Jeep?

Hey all...I have owned a 1978 CJ7 for about 6 years, but have put less than 3,000 miles on it during that time. I have contemplated selling it, but really have no idea what the value is. Here are a few of the details...AMC 304 V8 with automatic Transmission and Quadra-Trac. Power stearing, disc brakes, tilt wheel, air conditioning, and 32" tires. I have a soft top with full soft doors as well as the bikini top and hard top with full hard doors. (I have never had the hard doors and top on. Stored in my garage and look to be in great condition.) This CJ was sold to me as an unrestored original Jeep and looks great inside and out. I was under the impression when buying it that the mileage was original and now shows 29,500 miles, but the title shows the mileage as exempt. I have the sticker window and some of the original paperwork when the Jeep was purchased new. I havn't decided if I'm going to sell or not, but would like to know what the value is. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

maybe more in other parts of the USA
really only worth what someone willing to pay for it

Great looking Jeep and really low miles, too. I think you've got a gem with it being a V8 automatic, having AC and really low miles.

I believe that the "retail", fair market value can be found online at sites specifically for Jeeps such as jeepbroker.com, thejeeptrader.com or perhaps even ebay.

From what I've seen, the more original or stock the Jeep is, the more the Jeep is worth. Also, Jeeps from warmer climates tend to be more sought after.

Using the above sites as reference for current market value from sellers:
low value @$6k-$7k, high value @$12k-$15k

Hard to say without more info - most importantly, the actual miles. If you can verify that it's only got 29,000, that's a big jump. But I'm guessing it's way over 29,000. Maybe it's 129,000? Maybe the speedo was disconnected for a while? The body's been painted once... at least. The tub is rusted through. What's the frame look like? How bad are the floors?

Not knowing the true condition of the tub/frame and assuming the miles are well over the 29,000... I'd put the value closer to $3,000... maybe $2,500. But, verify those miles, show a solid frame and floor... getting close to $6,000... $7,000...
