Could somebody identify this round acsess cover?

Under floor brake reservoir. Thats how it use to be done before swing pedals and firewall mounted master cylinders.

The 3rd photo is my 73 CJ5 . Is the cover a holdover (like the side tank indentation) or do I have a tub thats older than 73?
The rest of the rig seems to have been built from spare parts.

My 73 had the same cover. I think it was a remnant from earlier times.

hahhaha....you nailed it. I've read articles about jeeps leaving the factory with one off engines/Transmission /axle combos during the years where the company changed hands several times.

Ive got a 73 and that plate is there also.

What I should have said is POs spare parts:eek:
It has a AMC 304 with an adapter to (ford?) T-98 , an AMC20 rear end, and a d-35 front with disc brakes.
