This should be good. lol... I just sold a ‘76 CJ5 that was dark blue that I named Mindy.
Go to Youtube & look up Mork & Mindy theme song or opening credits.

Mine has had lots of names over the years. Mostly 4 letter ones

I whole heartly agree!
Yes jeep can be a four letter word too, especially when preceded by the f-word.
Usually uttered when a wrench slips and a knuckle starts to bleed.

And usually utter again while looking for said wrench on the other side of the shop/yard.

Ahhh, the seven letter verb.
While quite accurate, it’s not quite what I had in mind.

When I realized that I brought home “Mindy’s Jeep” I thought it might be better to embrace it rather than be embarrassed by it. My first thought was a personalized plate like “nanoo nanoo” but that of course has too many letters. I then came up with “nanu x2” thinking I was so clever... it was taken! Not only that every combination I could think of was also taken!
Is somebody driving around in Mork’s spaceship?

Mawdeen, after Jesse Dukes's mule cause that's what it really is.

Mine will definitely get a name but we are still working on it. I like Cletus but the wife is against it :)

Oh, sorry! While I'm not a vehicle namer (had a couple of boats over years, they never had names either), this should be interesting topic. Who knows I might be enticed to name mine. The CJ is unlike any vehicle I have owned, it's both fun and exasperating at the same time.

That’s really sad. Next I expect someone to say that they don’t go out to the garage at night to hug their Jeep & say “goodnight”.

Or feel up her headlights.

My 7 yo daughter (5 at the time) named my Jeep "Brodie". I think it's kind of fitting.

Also, my 2500 Dodge is named Stirling and my wife's Honda Pilot is named Rosie Love.

My son named his “Willy”. I’m pretty sure he just read the back of it, but I still laughed.

Never named a vehicle before... well besides the "Li'l Green Turd", a '69 VW bug that I turned unto a baja bug in high school...

My wife named the CJ "Toula". She does vex me at times... I'll not commit on which she...

Meet “Willy”.
