My wife, for some reason, feels she needs a Jeep of some kind now too, since my two boys and I have all now purchased a Jeep within the last month or so! Where does she get off!? LOL, well I tell ya, she gets off on the Willys Overland Wagons! So I have started looking, and chased down a '48 today, but it was a bit rougher than I expected and parts have got to be a rare commodity for these things.. it was fairly complete though, if I could find one in better shape, this would be a good donor for parts. I really like the '48 for it's looks, and this one had the baddest hood ornament you normally don't see, like an indian head raised off the center of the hood and trailing back about 3/4 way down the hood. Very cool
. So I'll keep looking, and I might go back to it.. I really thing he would take half of what he's asking, and maybe I'm too picky. I know that unless I spend a pile of money, I'll have to settle on a major restoration.. It could have been worse, I guess we'll see..
