winch help

Has anyone out there used a Badland 12,000 lb winch from Harbor Freight?? My son can get me one for $300.00.

I know this will open a can of worms but, what the hey!! Not looking for the best, just want to know if anyone has used one?

Not sure about the 12,000#, but I watched a 8000# disintegrate.

If I need a winch, I sure don't want it to fail when I really need it.

I got the 6000 lb from harbor frieght. I just installed it thats about all I can tell you
