Windshield Channel

My first task on my 69 cj rebuild is the Windshield Frame. Frame is in great condition other then the rust in between the top layers of the frame. I had to remove the C-channel for the soft top to clean out the rust and do some welding repair. Does anybody know were I can get that C-channel. The only one I can find is for the newer style tops like for a YJ.

I've never seen a mfg for a stock replacement piece, but have seen them home fabbed from square tube with the track cut into it and then re-welded to windshield frame. How bad is your channel?

Channel is not to bad except for where the spot welds were.

I talked to Bestop and they said they dont use those anymore and that i can use the two piece channels like the YJ style.
