I have rust in the bottom of front window frame and the passenger wiper mount/binding up and tearing what is left of the wiper mounting whole. how good are the after market frames?, or should i look for a original frame in better shape?

If you can find a good original that would be my first choice .

I couldn't so I bought one from Collins brothers.

they are not too far from my place so I was able to look at it and put a micrometer on the sheet metal before I bought it. The frame is the same gauge as the original and it is working well for me.

They did sell me the wrong glass gasket. the gasket between the body and windshield looked too wide when I first put it on but it seems to have found its own level after a few weeks.:D

So I would recommend this not only for the quality but for the price as well.

That sounds good, I thought the replacement ones were made of a lot thinner material. I will be on the look out for a stock one but it is nice to know that the replacements ones are decent. Thanks for the help.
