Where do you guys run your wiring from the lights mounted on your windshield hinges? Just curious? I have some mounts and new lights from Christmas, but want to have a plan before I start on installing them.

I figure its going to go through the windshield seal, but not sure where to after that, is there a hole somewhere under the seal? I'm just going to hope there will probably be a rust hole I can use

There is a hole on the left side for the windshield wiper motor, I don't remember about the right side but you can always make one. I would suggest some sort of additional insulation for the wiring, at least some heat shrink tubing.

On a previous CJ I've owned I mounted a light on my windshield frame. I drilled a hole in the windshield frame for the wire and routed it through the hole that from the windshield to the body. The defroster vents go past the rubber seal. I don't remember if the hole I used was also for the defroster. I don't remember going into or out of the heating system so I think the hole I used must have been separate.
Since your lights are down at the hinge can't you drill a hole into the body below the hinge? Was there some other spot you were planing on getting the wires inside?

Yeah, I'd dig a hole in the body tucked nicely up under the hinge, grommet it tight to the cable, silicon it if necessary.
