I've searched here, other forums, and youtube and can't find out how to remove the wiper arms from a '73 CJ5 . What's the trick? This is to remove the entire arm and not just the blade. Thanks!
On my 79, they pull straight off from the base. If I recall correctly, it has grooves so twisting won't help. If yours have oxidized shut, a few mild taps or side-to-side wiggling might help.
Try to use a flat blade screwdriver sideways. Get it between the base of the pivot and the bottom of the wiper arm and twist. You should see the wiper arm start to come straight off.
