Last night I was in my 1981 CJ7 Jeep cruising, and today I decided to put some work in so I changed the spark plugs and wires, and I cleaned the carb. It'll turn over fine, but I have to stay on the throttle. I have no clue why it won't start anymore and any help would be great. Thank you in advanced.

Crossed wires?
What plugs?
The dizzy moved and your ign. timing is now off.
You pulled the vacuum line off the dizzy.

I labeled the wires before I changed them, and I used Bosch plugs. How would I know if I did cross the wires, and how would I rectify it? The only things I pulled off were the plug wires. When I start it up sometimes I do have to hold the gas for about 20-30sec would that have anything to do with it?

Those Bosch plugs may not be designed to run on your ignition system, so I would suggest swapping those out for some Autolites.

Bosch run 'cold'. I never like'd them
Put some 985 Autolites in.
