this maybe a new "get it off your chest" thread
I have been a Locksmith for 16 years now. I have seen my fair share of thing s that my police friends could only understand.
Evictions ,foreclosures, dead bodies, death threats, crime scenes.
i have been under investigation 6 times but yet helped the same police solve 7 cases.
2 years ago i met a lady at her house just to rekey the locks, no big deal ( done it thousands of times) job went as normal as the others but she wanted to stay in her car while i wasa inside ( odd but oh well right ?)
3 weeks later i was called in by the police for questioning for a job i had done. They informed me that this lady was rekeying her house because her and her husband had a fight and she kicked him out.
After he realized he was locked out he broke in the back door, hid in the back of the house and waited for her to come home
Well long story short, He was so mad that he beat her to a pulp to the point where she died at the hospital
I went to the trial and testified my part and he was sent away for good
Today i am at the local Quik trip and there is her brother....I say hello, and he almost lunged at me ( police officers there getting coffee)but he did say to me that it was my fault that she is dead....I turned around and walked away but the police saw this, they asked if I wanted to press chearges. After telling them the story they just said " go "
I dont want to hurt the man ( i carry ALL the time)
I will mark this down as my 17th death threat even though i didnt deserve this one
It was hard enough 2 years ago knowing that your work cause someone to break and kill someone
sorry guys but getting that off my chest kinda help
We all work or have worked in jobs that sux to a point...get it done and go home
i respect all that get out there and work regardless of what it is they do.....
regards
greg
