Since I'm rebuilding frame off I am replacing all worn items. Now is the time I would like to due any potential upgrades. I have read a ton on the 2 1/2" wide spring swap and will be doing it. Probably the stock springs and not the old man emu since all I found on them was a 2 1/2" lift minimum. I'm only wanting an inch or so. The Rocky Road kit states no drilling and 3/4"-1" lift. Might add some nice shackles as well that would give another 1/2". Any advice on brands, companies, set ups, etc for all the equipment? I will also be replacing shocks since the old ones were shot, advice on good, reasonable shocks with about an inch lift over stock. Again I will not be crawling or really even wheeling other than a possible dove field ride. Mostly a driver. Thanks

How does the Rocky Road kit provide the lift? Make sure it's not from dropping the shackle end mount down. If so, that's essentially like a built in shackle lift and you probably wouldn't want to add a shackle lift to it. I don't have much knowledge of their kit, but in general you should only have to change the shackle end mount, so I'm just guessing at the lift part.

Jim Crabtree at Crabtree Tool & Die makes some nice shackles. I'll probably go with them when I get to that part of my list
