You're talking about the ones that mount to the doors? I think all you would need is YJ brackets. Why not stay with CJ mirrors that stay with the jeep when the doors are removed?
My hinges on my 84 have the holes predrilled for them, so if the hinges are the same for both years, I would think so. You could also do as another CJ8 I know of. He mounted mirror movers on his windshield hinges and then used YJ mirrors. Therefore he still has them with the doors off. Of course he can't see the pass mirror well, but the mirror movers will do that.
